Carbon Iceland and Carbon Engineering met in Reykjavik to discuss the possibility of applying Direct Air Capture technology in Iceland. Further evaluation is needed to develop the idea further. During this visit, representatives of Carbon Iceland and Carbon Engineering met with the President of Iceland. Mr. Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, to inform the President about the matter and to allow him to ask questions about the new DAC-technology that Carbon Engineering has developed and put into use for a considerable amount of time.
