Today, Carbon Iceland had the honor of meeting with Her Excellency Ambassador Clarissa Duvigneau at the German Embassy (Botschaft der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) in Reykjavik, Iceland. It is of great importance for Carbon Iceland to inform the Ambassador about the project, particularly as German related companies are directly involved in the design processes and providing key expertise for the project.
We sincerely appreciated the opportunity to present the project to the Ambassador, to answer her interesting questions, and to learn of her strong interest in renewable fuels in contrast with European legislation such as the RED directive. The Ambassador expressed a keen interest in the progress of the project and sought to gain a deeper understanding of our production line and the collaboration between our key partners.
